WOULD YOU LIKE A SMOOTHER JAWLINE?
When we are young, the jaw line from ear to chin is smooth. As we age, many people experience jowls that occur on the jaw line directly below the outside corners of their mouth, from the sagging down of lower cheek skin. These indentations, or notches, interrupt the smoothness of the jaw line and can give it a shape that looks a little bit like an “S.”Fortunately, if the sagging is mild to moderate, non surgical treatments such as dermal filler injections can correct this problem easily.
Jawline Contouring, also called Jawline enhancement, isn’t just popular with the ladies, the men love it even more too.
This treatment gives men a more chiselled and sharp jawline. Dermal Filler is added along the jawline to create a more defined and contoured look. This treatment is ideal for those that have Jowl Necks.
Many of our clients also tend to have the Chin Contouring/Augmentation treatment alongside this one. These two treatments tend to complement each other, giving a more polished and fully finished contoured look.
FAQ's
PRIOR THE TREATMENT :
The area is cleaned with antiseptic and marked using a marker pen to decide on the
optimum site for enhancement. Numbing cream can be applied if patients prefer for
additional comfort
TREATMENT :
The new injection technique has allowed the treatment to be very comfortable and not necessarily need any topical anesthetic. The dermal filler is slowly injected to place the filler above the cheek bone. Further product may be placed laterally in the cheek to further enhance the contour depending on the natural shape of your cheek. The result is immediate and will last about up to 18 months. However, due to the immediate swelling from the procedure the final result will not be seen until about 3-4 weeks. A plan for regular follow-up treatments to maintain the initial result can be created for you. Our treatment provides a long-lasting but not permanent result leaving you the option of refining your treatment in tunewith changing taste and fashion.

If you’ve previously had cold sores around the mouth (facial herpes simplex) , the treatment might provoke an outbreak. Be sure you have a supply of the oral tablets (prescription) such as acyclovir. Victoria can advise you on this and give you a prescription if needed.
