Occasionally dermal fillers do not give you the effect you were hoping for. We see patients that have been treated by other clinics where too much product has used in the lines or folds or the result has left them with asymmetry, lumpy texture or they are just unhappy with the effect
We understand how upsetting it can be for those who have suffered from undesirable results.
Victoria uses an enzyme called Hyaluronidase that causes the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, when the enzyme is injected it dissolves the synthetic hyaluronic acid filler.
Hyaluronidase works very quickly, with most of the effect taking place within 24 hours. You should be able to see definite improvement and less filler in the injected area in just a few hours after treatment. As your safety is our priority, it is very important to have a test patch with Hyaluronidase. This can be done just half an hour prior to the full procedure to ensure there is no adverse effect or reaction.
Clients report minimal discomfort during the treatment, but it can sting a little.
You may only need 1 treatment. However, depending on the the volume of excess filler that we are trying to dissolve, you may need another treatment 3- 5 days later.
We will schedule your follow up appointment to make sure you are happy with the result. Hyaluronidase and additional dermal filler injections cannot be done at the same time. We advise you to wait for a 14 days, allowing the area to completely settle, before considering a new dermal filler treatment.
There are very few reported side effects with Hyaluronidase, slight bruising
being the most common which is a risk with any injection. This is usually
minimal and can be concealed with mineral makeup
Lips then to be the most common, followed by cheeks and tear trough correction.
