Different treatment types are offered at Beyoo Aesthetics -
Lip Enhance - By using Dermal fillers Victoria can add volume and definition to enhance small, thin lips or add volume to an already bigger lip, we can even balance out uneven lips. All treatments carried out by Beyoo Aesthetics respect the golden ratio of beauty, this ensures a perfect, balanced and natural looking pout.

Lip lines can be concealed on the top and bottom lip, definition restored and a little volume added. The corners of the mouth can also be supported to help turn a frown upside down.

- Lip augmentation targeting the fleshy part of the upper and lower lip – for volume, pout and fullness
- Cupids bow definition – adds definition and contouring
- Oral commissures or lines going down from the sides of the mouth – for a younger and happy look
- Marionette lines (sad lines from corner of lips downward) – also known as puppet lines
Philtrum ridges that go from the upper lip towards the nose can be made more defined.
- Perioral lines or fine vertical lines often due to smoking on the upper lip can be reduced
Prior the treatment : Topical anaesthetic will be applied for 15-30 minutes prior the treatment to make the area numb
The procedure : Dermal filler is injected at precise locations into your skin, Victoria will then massage to smooth the product. During the procedure, you are fully awake. You will be given a mirror to hold to enable you to see the results once the treatment is complete.
Post treatment : You should avoid touching or applying make up on the treated area for 6 hours in order to prevent infection. Specific post treatment instructions will be given to you on the day of your treatment by Victoria.
The results are immediate and last from 6-12 months. As the results are relatively temporary, adjustments can be made as your face changes over time and you will always retain a natural look
We understand the lips are a sensitive area. A range of anesthesias, such as an ice pack or numbing cream can be provided depend upon your preference. In addition, products are used which contain anaesthetic, therefore the treatment is relatively comfortable. Victoria is highly experienced in this procedure and will ensure to make your treatment as comfortable as possible
After the injection, the lips often become a little swollen. This means that the result immediately after the treatment may not be the final result. The swelling typically resolves spontaneously within a couple of days. If a bigger lip is desired then it is recommended to have a touch-up treatment 2 to 4 weeks after the initial session. This will also add to the duration of the treatment effect
The result generally last between 6 to 12 months. The longevity of these products is variable and each individual may obtain a different result. A plan for regular follow-up treatments to maintain the initial result can be created for you. Our treatment provides a long-lasting but not permanent result leaving you the option of refining your treatment in tune with changing taste and fashion
The most common dermal filler used for the lip area is Hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid is one of nature’s most versatile and fascinating substances. It is found throughout the body as well as in most other living organisms. It has many functions, for example, giving the skin elasticity, providing our skin with volume and also giving it a youthful appearance. Dermal fillers consist of sterile gels consisting of non-animal, cross-linked, hyaluronic acid (HA) and are created in a laboratory. They contain no human or animal DNA and have the best safety profile of all the fillers currently on the market as it is the only type of filler that is reversible.
The products used at Beyoo Aesthetics are FDA approved and have a proven safety record, these include Juvederm, Restylane and Belotero.

You may have swelling and bruising for 24-72 hours, especially with injections in the lips. It is recommended to avoid planning social events for 48 hours. Swelling and bruising, in some cases. can take up to 14 days to settle.
After the treatment some common injection-related reactions might occur, such as swelling, redness, pain, itching, discoloration and tenderness at the injection site. These typically resolve spontaneously within 2 to 10 days

There are some other very rare complications that can happen. Victoria will discuss these with you within your consultation.
Stop taking vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements and Ibuprofen for a few days before the treatment. This is because these tablets thin your blood slightly which can increase the risk of bruising and swelling.
If you take Aspirin, Clopidogrel, Warfarin or any other type of blood thinner please get in touch with Victoria as it could be dangerous for you to stop without medical advice.
Don’t drink alcohol for 24 hours before or after your treatment, as alcohol can also thin your blood which increases the chance of bruising and swelling.
Avoid any strenuous exercise or excessively hot showers or baths for 24 hours after the treatment, because the heat can force your blood to pump round your body faster which can make bruising and swelling worse.
You can help to reduce the bruising and swelling after injections bu applying an ice pack (wrapped in a clean cloth) to the area every few hours.
After the treatment Victoria will give you a pot of arnica to take home with you, this will help with any bruising or swelling. You can apply it hourly with freshly washed hands.
To help to prevent swelling, an anti-histamine tablet can be taken before your treatment along with a paracetamol (if you are not allergic or sensitive to either). We also recommend taking a daily anti-histamine for a few days after the injections to help settle any swelling.
Avoid applying make up for at least 12 hours to prevent infection, also make sure hands are clean prior to touching the area.
Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to any special event which you may be attending, such as a wedding or a holiday to allow any bruising and swelling to settle.
Please let your Victoria know if you suffer from cold sores prior to the treatment as I may prescribe an anti-viral medication prior to the procedure.
If the injection site maybe uncomfortable for a few days, you can take regular paracetamol to help with the discomfort.
If you develop any pain that does not get better, or if you are concerned on any way please get in touch.
