SKIN BLEMISH TREATMENT
Remove unwanted moles, skin tags, milia and blemishes safely
If you’ve got a mole, skin tag or small blemish that catches on clothing, sits in a visible area, or simply bothers you every time you notice it, you’re not alone. Many people live with these little skin concerns for years, even when they are completely harmless, because they’re unsure what is safe to remove.
Small skin growths such as moles, skin tags and milia are common and usually harmless, but they can be frustrating or affect confidence. Whether they catch on clothing, appear in visible areas or simply feel unsightly, safe removal can make a big difference to how you feel.
At Beyoo Medical Aesthetics in Lancaster, we offer medical-grade lesion removal in a safe and clinical environment. All treatments are carried out by trained medical professionals using the CryoPen®, a precise device that removes benign lesions quickly and comfortably with minimal downtime.

Why patients seek help
Skin tags, milia and benign blemishes are incredibly common. Some patients simply dislike how they look, while others find them uncomfortable, irritated or prone to catching on clothing or jewellery.
Common reasons for removal include:
- Visible skin tags on the neck, eyelids or face
- Milia (small white cysts beneath the skin)
- Cherry angiomas or small red spots
- Warts or verrucae
- Seborrhoeic keratoses (age-related raised lesions)
- Benign moles that have been medically approved for removal
At Beyoo, we combine clinical precision with care and reassurance, ensuring every lesion is assessed and treated safely.
If you’re unsure what your skin lesion is, book an assessment and we will talk you through the safest next step.
When medical approval is required
Patient safety is always our priority. Any mole or lesion over 6 mm in diameter, or one that has recently changed in colour, shape or texture, must be medically assessed before removal.
This approval can be obtained in several ways:
- Through your GP
- Via a dermatology referral
- Using our Map My Mole service, which offers dermatologist-led mole screening directly through our clinic
Only once a lesion has been confirmed as benign can we safely remove it. This ensures your treatment meets medical and safety standards while giving you complete peace of mind.
Treatment options at Beyoo
CryoPen® Precision Removal
The CryoPen® uses a fine jet of nitrous oxide to freeze and destroy unwanted benign skin lesions. It is quick, accurate and minimally invasive, with little to no scarring.
CryoPen® can safely treat many common skin concerns on the face and body, including:
On the face:
- Skin tags
- Milia (if superficial)
- Cherry angiomas (red vascular spots)
- Seborrhoeic keratoses (age spots)
- Viral warts
- Benign moles (with prior medical approval)
- Sebaceous hyperplasia (enlarged oil glands)
- Xanthelasma (in suitable cases)
Elsewhere on the body:
- Skin tags
- Warts and verrucae
- Cherry angiomas
- Seborrhoeic keratoses
- Benign moles (after medical clearance)
CryoPen® allows accurate targeting of the lesion without affecting surrounding skin.
- Treatment time: 10 to 20 minutes
- Downtime: minimal; small scabs or redness may appear for several days
- Results: most lesions clear after one to two sessions
Milia Extraction
For milia that do not respond to cryotherapy, we can safely extract them using sterile techniques. This involves gently opening the surface of the skin and removing the trapped keratin, leaving the area smooth and clear.
Book your CryoPen® appointment in Lancaster and we will recommend the most appropriate treatment for your specific lesion.
What to expect
- Consultation and Assessment: Your appointment begins with a consultation and lesion assessment. Any moles or lesions that need medical approval will be referred to your GP, dermatologist or screened via our Map My Mole service before treatment.
- Treatment: Once medically cleared, treatment with CryoPen® or sterile extraction can take place. The procedure is quick and comfortable, with only mild tingling or a cold sensation.
- Aftercare and Review: You can return to normal activities soon after treatment. We provide full aftercare guidance and include a review if needed to ensure your results have developed evenly and naturally.
Recovery & results
After treatment, the treated area may appear slightly red or form a small crust that naturally falls away within 7 to 10 days. The skin usually heals smoothly with minimal risk of scarring.
Results are typically permanent for individual lesions, although new skin tags or blemishes may appear over time due to skin friction, hormones or ageing.
