CHEMICAL PEELS
A fresh start for your skin
When skin starts to look dull, tired or lacking its usual glow, a chemical peel can make all the difference. At our Lancaster clinic, we use medical-grade peels to safely refresh and brighten your complexion – from gentle glow peels to advanced treatments like Cosmelan®, Mesoestetic® and AlumierMD®.
Why patients choose Chemical Peels
- Improve pigmentation and sun damage
- Smooth fine lines and uneven texture
- Brighten tired or congested skin
How it works
A safe solution, such as glycolic, lactic, mandelic, salicylic or trichloroacetic acid, is applied to the skin. This creates controlled exfoliation and renewal. Stubborn pigmentation and melasma can respond well to Cosmelan®. Other blends target acne, scarring or general rejuvenation.
Who it’s for
Peels may suit you if you want a clearer, brighter complexion and visible improvement in pigmentation, acne or uneven texture. They are a good option if you prefer a non invasive treatment with minimal downtime.

Recovery & results
Downtime varies by peel strength.
Light peels: mild redness or flaking for a day or two. Skin looks fresher within days
Medium peels: more visible peeling for several days. Results show after about a week
Advanced options like Cosmelan®: peeling and redness for up to 7 to 10 days with stronger gains in pigmentation and clarity
Many see a glow after one treatment. A course builds results.
Safety & reassurance
Treatments are carried out by an experienced skin therapist. Deeper peels are performed by our nurse. We operate with medical oversight for safety.
